This free 11 times table page shows every fact from 11 × 1 to 11 × 12 in large type, along with a practice quiz on screen and a printable 11 times table worksheet. It runs in your web browser, so nothing is uploaded and no sign-up is needed. The table view opens first and highlights the ones digit of each answer. Underneath, a counting-by-11s row and repeated-addition lines show why each answer is right. Use the practice quiz to test yourself one question at a time, or the worksheet to print pages for homework or class. The table can run to × 10, × 12, × 15 or × 20.

The page covers 11 × 1 to 11 × 12 by default, and Times table goes up to extends the table to × 15 or × 20.

How to use the 11 Times Table tool

  1. Look at the table view, which opens first. Read the answers from 11 × 1 to 11 × 12, then check the counting-by-11s row and the repeated-addition lines below it.
  2. Click Practice on screen to start a quiz. Choose a Question type (Multiplication, Missing factor, Division or A mix of all three), a Number of questions (10, 20, 30, 50 or Keep going until I stop) and a Countdown timer (No timer, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes or 5 minutes).
  3. Type each answer in the labelled box and press Enter or the Check button. The result and the full fact appear straight away. Use Skip to count a question as missed, or Finish now to end the quiz early.
  4. Click Printable worksheet. Choose a Worksheet type, then the number of Problems (12 to 40), the Columns (2 to 5) and the Blanks setting. Tick or untick Include answer key.
  5. Set Paper to US Letter or A4, then click Print or save as PDF.

Click New worksheet to get a different set of problems with the same settings. Each sheet shows a short worksheet code. The page address stores your settings, so a bookmarked or shared link opens the same view. Reset settings restores the defaults.

A simple routine for the 11 times table: read the table in the learning view, answer 20 questions in Practice on screen, then print a worksheet of missing factors such as 11 × __ = 77 and keep the answer key for checking.

What are the patterns in the 11 times table?

The answers follow a few patterns you can check for yourself. Each answer is 11 more than the one before, so the table is the same as counting by 11s: 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66 and so on. The ones digits go 1, 2, 3 up to 9, then 0, and then repeat, and the answers alternate odd and even because 11 is odd.

Up to 11 × 9, the answer is the digit you multiply by, written twice: 11 × 6 = 66. The pattern changes at 11 × 10 = 110, because the answers now have three digits. For two-digit numbers whose digits add up to 9 or less, write the first digit, then the sum of the two digits, then the last digit. So 11 × 11 = 121 (1, then 1 + 1 = 2, then 1), and 11 × 12 = 132 (1, then 1 + 2 = 3, then 2).

The last digit of each answer also matches the number you multiply by: 11 × 3 = 33, 11 × 7 = 77 and 11 × 12 = 132. Knowing this gives you a quick check on your answers.

How do I learn the 11 times table quickly?

Start with the facts you already know. Because 11 × 3 and 3 × 11 are the same fact, every fact with a number under 11 already appears in a smaller table. If you know the tables from 1 to 10, only two facts are new: 11 × 11 = 121 and 11 × 12 = 132. Learn those two first.

Next, count aloud by 11s: 11, 22, 33, 44 and so on. Then check each answer with repeated addition. For example, 11 × 4 = 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 = 44. Saying the working out loud helps the pattern stick.

A real-life example helps too. A soccer team has 11 players on the field, so 4 teams have 11 × 4 = 44 players. Practice in short rounds rather than one long session, and go back to the facts you got wrong.

From 11 × 10 the repeated-digit pattern stops, so 11 × 10 = 110, 11 × 11 = 121 and 11 × 12 = 132 are the facts to learn separately.

What do all the answers in the 11 times table add up to?

The twelve answers from 11 × 1 to 11 × 12 add up to 858, because 1 + 2 + … + 12 = 78 and each answer is 11 times one of those numbers. Halfway through the table, 11 × 6 = 66; doubling that gives 11 × 12 = 132.

For example, 11 × 7 = 77 and 11 × 9 = 99, so the digit simply repeats up to 11 × 9.

Questions teachers and parents ask

Is there a trick for the 11 times table?

Yes. Multiply the number by 10 and then add the number once more: 11 × k = 10 × k + k. For example, 11 × 8 = 80 + 8 = 88. This works for every fact in the table, so it is a useful way to check an answer you are unsure of.

Can I print the 11 times table or an 11 times table worksheet?

Yes. Open the printable worksheet view and click **Print or save as PDF**. You can choose US Letter or A4 paper. If you tick **Include answer key**, the answers print on a separate page after the worksheet. The browser's print dialog can also save the sheet as a PDF.

Is there a free 11 times table quiz I can do on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The practice quiz runs in the web browser and needs no sign-up. It shows one question at a time, and on a phone the number keypad appears so you can type the answer. You can choose the question type, the number of questions and an optional countdown timer.

How do I make an 11 times table worksheet with missing numbers or division facts?

Open the printable worksheet view and pick a **Worksheet type**. Choose **Missing factor** for questions like 11 × __ = 110, or **Division facts** for questions like 110 ÷ 11 = __. Then set the **Blanks** option to decide how many answers are left blank, and choose the number of problems and columns.

How many different problems can an 11 times table worksheet have?

With both orders on, there are 23 different problems: 11 × k and k × 11 for k from 1 to 12. With both orders off, there are 12. If you ask for more problems than are available, the sheet shows the smaller number and says so.
