Sources and Licences
Where K5Print's content comes from, and what you may do with it. Learn pages are CC BY-SA 4.0; worksheets are our own.
K5Print mixes two kinds of content with two different licences. This page says plainly which is which, because reusing the wrong one incorrectly is a real problem for you, not just for us.
Learn and Words pages — CC BY-SA 4.0
Everything under /learn/ is adapted from Simple English Wikipedia and
Wikijunior (Wikibooks); everything under /words/ is adapted from
Wiktionary. All are published under
CC BY-SA 4.0, which is a share-alike
licence: any adaptation must carry the same licence. So these pages do.
What we changed. We removed reference markers, navigation boxes, and tables; we expanded measurement templates into readable numbers (a wiki page whose “convert” template stands for 30 metres becomes “30 metres (98 ft)”); and we split the article from the younger-reader version. The prose is otherwise the contributors’ work, not ours.
What you may do. Share and adapt these pages, including commercially, as long as you credit the original article and keep the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Each page links to its source article, where the full contributor history lives.
Worksheets and printables — © K5Print
Practice sets, answer keys, generated problems, and print layouts are our own work. They are free to download and use with your own students or children. They are not under CC BY-SA, and redistributing them as your own product is not permitted.
Worksheet tools
The worksheet tools run entirely in your browser. Their code and the sheets they make are our own work, under the same terms as the printables above: free to use with your own students or children. Sheets you make with your own words or names are yours. The fonts and other open-source parts they use are listed on the credits page.

Something wrong?
If a page misattributes a source, or a fact does not match what its source says, tell us and we will fix it. Getting the numbers right is the whole point of the site.
